Autumn College Outfits 2022

The new academic year is approaching! Wether you are excited for the new start or dreading the summer coming to a close, it’s happening!

Now, we can all agree that a great outfit makes us feel so much better right? So, let’s take that tool and use it on our first day!

Having outfits planned can save us on those early mornings when you’re running late for class! So, let’s get prepared with some ideas.

Starting, with the classic and timeless knitted sweater and jeans! This baby pink and mid wash jeans go perfectly! Finished with a cute handbag and boots, this outfit can be so classy!

Jeans, boots and a shacket. Can we get any more autumnal than that? (Says in chandler bing voice!)

Shackets are back and I’m here for it! Shackets are so versatile! Got a job meeting? You’ve got your handy shirt-jacket to wear! Going for a walk? What’s going to keep you the warmest? Running late to class, what jacket will you grab to look stylish and warm? That’s right, the shacket fits every situation!

This Shacket is from Primark but you’ll notice Shackets is mostly all stores this autumn/winter season! My favourites are from places such as H&M, Zara and Tk Maxx.

Your style and vibe is more yk2? No problem! Here is this Elena Gilbert/ Bella swan inspired outfit. It’s casual, it’s hip and it makes a great outfit for wearing to class!

Another more “alternative” style that always seem to crop up each autumn are these “grandpa sweaters”. They come in all kind of colours and patterns and there are so many unique ones! These sweaters show that you are fun, playful and quirky. They go perfectly with jeans (straight leg, flared or mom jeans) and some doc martins!

A casual yet put together outfit:

Sweater tucked into jeans topped off with a belt to add that extra classy factor! Always a timeless outfit! Comfy and casual for class! Can be done with almost all sweaters and all styles of jeans. Although, the picture shows skinny jeans, it can easily be recreated with straight leg jeans or flares or any jeans you’d like really. Are skinny jeans really out of style though? Dress comfy and casual with joggers! Grey joggers never get old. Grey joggers will always be around. A baggy joggers paired with a fitted or cropped top always makes a comfy yet flattering and fashionable outfit. A comfortable outfit can make class so much more enjoyable and make it so that all you need focus on is learning!

This year, we are seeing different cuts of joggers. These include wide leg and flared leg. Wear joggers with style this autumn!

For a dressed up, smart outfit, go for something like this:

It’s classy, it’s sophisticated and it’s girly. It shows great feminine power and strength. Oversized blazers are so in this year! Mainly in Colours black, grey and black and white checked but I have also observed some pops of colour, this year mainly being pinks and reds.

Blazors can make a great outfit piece for when you’re wanting to feel a little extra confident in class or have an important meeting or audition. Blazors can be worn with skirts or jeans for a more casual look and they always look amazing with a turtle neck!
