Being a student is hard. It is time consuming. It is challenging. And it is mentally exhausting! You deserve to have much fun as possible before school starts again! Here is how to do so:

Pack a towel and head to the beach!
The weather is getting increasingly warmer and there is no better way to enjoy it then laying on the sand, swimming in the sea and playing games with friends on the beach! Pick up some friends and head to the local beach for some summer fun! (DONT FORGET SUNCREAM!)
Attend a festival!
Festivals are where all the fun is at! Grab some friends, look rock and roll and hit the town!
There are more festivals than ever going on in 2022 due to no more covid restrictions! Festivals are back in business and better than ever! Festivals equal fun filled weekends, tassles and glitter! There are so many different choices of festivals to enjoy this summer, from rock festivals to fairy festivals! Are you a music lover or a elf enthusiast? Either way, there's something for you! Within a quick internet search, is contless events waiting for you to attend! There are even summer jobs you could apply for to help out at festivals. Show you care by offering your help!

LGBTQ+ Pride!
On the same line as festivals, you could join a LGBTQ+ march or attend a pride festival! There are many different pride concerts hosted by LGBTQ+ members and supporters with LGBTQ+ performers! Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community and want to be surrounded by similiar and like-minded people? Do you want to meet others in your community? Get some friends to tag along and attend pride with you! Not a member of the community? No problem! Go show your support! You do not need to be a member to attend! Tag along and support fellow beings! Pride is a blast!
Have a summer party!
What better way than to spend an evening with friends, food and party games! Host a party yourself or listen out for parties happening nearby! Maybe some fellow students at your school/college/uni are having a party, join in with the fun! Parties can be great or networking. You get to meet new people who go to your place of education but wouldnt usually meet because they arent in your class! There is theopportunity of making new friends whilst enjoying yourself for an evening! (Pus ofcourse free food!)
side note: Dont go to parties alone if you dont know anyone there! Bring a friend along and make sure to keep each other safe at all times.
Have fun but remember to put yours and your friends safety first!
Get a summer job!
Now, don't groan! Yes, it is work but summer jobs can be more than just labour, they can be packed with fun! Summer jobs can range from the classic carwashing to a funfilled fairground job! A summer job is great way to earn money over your break. There are many fufilling summer jobs to choose from. Join in on the fun at a campsite by becoming a camp counciller! Serve customers by becominga barrista or food server ( you will also most likely enjoy a employee discount equally cheap summer meals!). Having a summer job, means you'll be prepared for the new academic year by being able to buy school supplies, a jazzy new bag and stylish and comfy clothes to wear to class! You'll be able to pick the large coffee on your way to class without worrying about spending too much on a beverage and having to skimp for the rest of the year! Of course, spending money on new bags and coffee is not necessary (unless your bag has gaping holes, then please, get a new bag!) but it is nice to treat yourself every now and then, after all, you did work for it! However, sometimes saving is the smart move, especially as a student! As we don't have time for much paid work and are overloaded with student fees, putting money into the bank for a later date is an execellent move!
